The Third Eye or Brow Chakra is located in the middle of your forehead between your eyes.  This chakra allows us to see the big picture in life rather than focusing on one problem or event.  Not letting things go keeps us stuck in one place unable to move onto better times and people.

Have you ever heard the expression 'can't see the forest for the trees'?  Balancing our third eye chakra allows us to see beyond the minute to use clear thinking, introspection and intuition to make decisions and plans.

These crystals are used to balance the Third Eye Chakra:

Amethyst -  Amethyst is a vibrant red-violet crystal.  It is a stone of love, spirituality and contentment.  It has absolutely no negative side effects and it is very useful for focusing in problem solving meditation.

Amethyst stimulates the intellectual side of your life – because it increases activity of right-side brain.  Amethyst is used for psychic awareness as well as promoting sleep and intuitive dreams.

Flourite - Flourite is mined in many different colors: clear, yellow, blue, green and combinations of these three colors.

Flourite helps bring organization and structure to your life.  Flourite helps take the emotional aspect out of problem solving so that you have greater perspective on the problem at hand.

Lapis Lazuli is discussed at the Throat Chakra.

Sodalite -  Sodalite is very similar to Lapis Lazuli in appearance.  It is a deep blue crystal flecked with white.  However, it is missing the gold markings found in Lapis and it is much more commonly found than Lapis.

Sodiate eases the fear of the future and is used to calm and quiet the mind.  It also helps access intuitive knowledge and help understanding of events.
