Rosemary is a green shrub that holds legendary status in superstition, medicine and food.   As it is also believed to bring success to any undertaking, small sprigs of it are traditionally inserted into the bridal bouquet to ensure a happy marriage.

Rosemary is an analgesic (good in massage oil for arthritis) and antiseptic.

It is an excellent conditioning addition to dark hair care products.

Rosemary is the leaf of  remembrance. Our how to for making hand milled soap provides instructions for making Remembrance Soap.

Rosemary essential oil has a fresh, herbaceous scent and is often used as an addition to hair care products for dark hair.    Add 8 drops to a wooden handled brush for a final brush through of the top layers of your hair.  Your hair will be shiny without being oily or greasy.

Added to Witch Hazel Rosemary essential oil makes a great tonic for oily hair and dandruff.

Add Rosemary essential oil to a steaming pot of water and use a towel to make a tent to clear the sinuses and stimulate the brain.

Add 15 drops of Rosemary to an 15 ounce bottle to use as a room spray to combat fatigue and clear a stuffy atmosphere in the home or office.
