Sea Kelp Soap - 2
tablespoons of Sea Kelp. Sea Kelp is vitamin and mineral rich. It contains iodine, iron, sodium, calcium, potassium,
Vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D and E. Sea Kelp is classified as a brown algae. Depending on how fond you are of the
smell of sea weed you might want to add Peppermint or Eucalyptus essential oil. Soothe your Emotions -
1 tablespoon of ground Hibiscus flowers and a few drops each of Lavender
and Geranium essential oils. Lavender is a wonderful anti-depression essential oil. Geranium balances the
production of sebum which makes it valuable for skin that is excessively oily or dry. Hibiscus flowers are well known
for their soothing properties. Protective Soap - 2 tablespoons of ground juniper berries, 1 teaspoon of ground Eucalyptus leaf, Eucalyptus
and a few drops each of Lemon and Lavender essential oils. Juniper berries are said to banish all things
injurious to good health. The addition of the Eucalyptus, Lemon and Lavender provide calming and healing balancing properties. Tea Tree Soap - my favorite
travel soap with 1 teaspoon each of Mint, Cilantro and Green Tea with a few drops of Tea Tree essential oil. Tea
Tree is a extremely efficient antifungal, antiseptic and antiviral essential oil. This is my most used essential
oil. I use the soap and I keep a spray bottle of tea tree infused water to disinfect. Venus Soap - 1 tablespoon
of ground raspberry leaf and a few drops of Clary Sage essential oil. Raspberry is the flower of Venus. Clary
Sage essential oil is very effective in balancing female mood swings. Clary Sage has a musk like scent that is regulating
and relaxing. |
