Follow my easy instructions to turn this ...
Supply List:
- 2 tumbled Apple Green Chrysophase beads that are about 1/4 inch in length.
Chrysophase is a type of chalcedony that is mined in Brazil and Russia.
As it is green it is a gemstone of prosperity. However, it is also a gemstone used to promote mental relaxation.
- 2 Iolite beads 8mmx 6mm coin shaped.
Iolite is also known as Water Sapphire. This is a gentle, peaceful gemstone
- those of deep empathy are usually drawn to Iolite.
- 2 Sterling Silver round beads.
I used 4mm round beads
- 2 Sterling Silver head pins.
Head pins come in many lengths and designs. I used simple head pins for
these earrings. The longer the head pin normally the wider it will be. My Iolite was drilled with narrow holes
so I had to use a short head pin to fit through the holes.
- 2 Sterling Silver Earring hoops.
- A pair of round nose pliers

Into a pair of beautiful dangling earrings in fifteen minutes.
Place your gemstone beads on the head pin. Notice that for these earrings
the looped end of the head pin is the bottom. Click on the picture for a larger view
|
Using your round nose pliers, gently bend the top of the head pin into a rounded loop.
Do not close the loop entirely as this loop needs to be attached to the earring hoop.
|
Insert the head pin loop through the earring hoop loop to form the gemstone
dangle.
|
Use your round nose pliers to gently close the head pin loop up against the
top of the silver bead. Also close any gap in the earring loop. Repeat with the second set of beads - you
have just made a beautiful pair of gemstone earrings.
