I am not a car mechanic but found this was relatively easy to do.  My turn signals stopped working but the hazard lights still worked so I guessed it was the relay and not the fuse and I was right.

The only hard part was actually removing the old turn signal relay unit.
I used a couple of screwdrivers - one on each side to rock it out.

I called ahead to the Audi dealership to make sure they had the part in stock.  It cost about $37 with tax.

The entire operation took me about 1/2 hour.

First remove the cover that snaps on over the fog lights, turn signal relay and cup holder.

There is a screw on each side that I removed with a 5/16th ratchet.  After completing the job I believe this was unnecessary.

The turn signal relay.  Remove all the clips holding the assembly in place.

It is also necessary to remove the clips around the fog lights and cup holder.

I removed the cup holder first and cleaned it.

Jimming out the relay was the only hard part of this job.  Unplug it and plug in the new unit.  Reassemble and you are ready to go.
