Camphor - sharp, penetrating scent

Camphor essential oil is used for skin care conditions such as acne, inflammation and oily skin.   Combine a few drops of camphor essential oil with mineral water in an 8 ounce spray bottle  to lightly mist your face (avoid eye area).

 

Camphor essential oil is also helpful for arthritis, rheumatism and muscular aches and pains.  Mix a few drops in a massage oil to massage the affected area of your body.

 

Camphor essential oil makes an excellent closet freshener as it also repels moths.

 

In old China camphor tress, known as Hsiang chang, were so highly valued  for healing that the punishment was death for cutting one down.
